-
Unless informed otherwise,
courses normally start at 0930 at the predetermined location.
-
You will need to wear supportive,
laced footwear, (preferably boots), with jeans and cold weather
clothing that won't be affected by a grass stain or two!
-
Bring a good pair of sunglasses
too. You'll spend a lot of time looking upwards. If you don't have
any we stock a range of
Bloc sunglasses
that are very stylish, strong and suited to this sport.
-
If you use your own kites or
equipment, bring them along. Sometimes students want to get to know
their equipment better by flying them on course. If you have a
helmet or protective gear, bring that too.
-
Bring a packed lunch if the
course is over lunchtime, or be ready to join an expedition for Fish
and Chips - we have a wonderful shop in Amble.
-
Be prepared for some stiff
muscles for a couple of days after the course.
-
You will be required to sign a
disclaimer before participating in any courses.
-
In the event of inclement weather
or unforeseen circumstances, a course may be rescheduled to a later
day suitable for both the applicant and Northern Freestyle.
-
Bookings must be made in advance
with a 50% deposit. The remainder is payable on the day of training.
-
You must be sufficiently fit and
active to participate in the sport. Being able to walk a couple of
miles without undue exertion or physical distress is a sufficient
level of fitness. If in any doubt, give us a call - you may need to
consult your doctor.
