...What other hen parties chose to make it the
best ....
What will be important to you as an
organiser: |
- Group and Bride happiness
You will want the group and the bride to have a truly memorable
event. It's Northern Freestyle's primary aim too.
- Being on "THE BEACH".
Northumberland has miles of prime beaches and Areas of outstanding
Natural Beauty. We have special permissions and arrangements to run
events on these beaches.
- Food (plenty of).
There is a lot to choose from. Depending on the season, the
agreement and budget you discuss with us, just about anything is
possible. Sandwiches or a banquet all possible. And always - lots of
food!
- A friendly atmosphere to meet other bridal
group members. We suggest things like
having an informal group sharing at the start, team structure,
spontaneity, paying attention to correct names, allowing the group
to make decisions and many similar influences to promote the most
successful results.

-
Loos please!!
Some girls don't mind going commando, but most
like the reassurance of something more reliable and comfortable.
Depending on the location, loos are on site, or loo breaks made
every hour. An fully facilitated caravan provides backup. In the
winter we locate close to a beach house location with all
facilities.
-
Flexibility of provider (last
minute changes, bad weather, party hangovers, etc)
Anything can happen. We can't say we've seen it all, but we've seen,
and dealt with lots!! You'll find our staff calm, accommodating, and
accepting of the unplanned!!
-
Protection (sun, wind, rain).
Northern Freestyle has all weather marquees sufficient to host 40
people, we can cover most eventualities. we also carry sunscreen,
waterproof clothing and a small stock of high quality sunglasses.
-
Simplicity on the beach
(paddling, nature, relaxing).
All available to add to the curriculum at any available time
throughout the day. When a member of your party wants time out, they
just grab an available seat or bit of dune and chill.
And some advice to
make it the most memorable day |
-
Getting Into Competition
(buggy racing, sand castles). We
discuss with you what you want. Some groups are competitive, some
not. At it's best. the group is split into teams and different
events are organised throughout the day, leading to a final score.
Winners receive trophy and champagne. All participants get to
receive a medal, one way or another!
- Tides. It makes sense to plan the day
around tides if possible. Ring us for information. Most
Northumberland beaches are within the Northumberland National park
and the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Here beaches are vast,
empty, offer excellent sand for flying activities and safe clean
water for swimming, but we need sufficient sand to engage any kite
related activities.
- Book early.
Beach / powerkiting is becoming more popular as a Hen and Stag
activity. Good weekends for tides only happen every two weeks. So
get your booking in as soon as possible.

This lovely Bride to be wanted to
be play with every team - and that will stop after marriage we hope!! |
The official answer is that a group
is divided into teams to promote bonding, fun and a sense of
competition. The unofficial answer is that girls get to wear ribbons. |
We don't do marriage ceremonies.
Though the the scenery is fantastic, we do a limited line in wedding
dresses....... |
....and the Brides companion for
the day might object!! |
Everyone is a winner!! |
"The severed foot" sculpture.
Two doctors, one artist, all three with a sick sense of humour! |

Druridge Bay. favourite
location. Just over half an hour from Newcastle centre. |
There is something about the art of
Poi that attracts every youngster in the adult. |
This event was a simple
buffet to keep costs down. |
Think about it. Look carefully.
Very funny. Art in motion.. |
